Coping
Hang in there they say. For what? For how long? They don’t know.
Shot between 2015-2017 in Ayvalık/Turkey and Chiang Mai/Thailand
I keep moving. I breathe and I eat. I buy things, I sell things.
You know, I keep myself real busy.
Once in a while, something takes over. Something that clouds my mind.
Life keeps being life but I’m spared. I feel like a fish in a jar.
These are the moments. That will be repeated.
Time after time. Until the end.

Coping came to be while I was looking for a meaning in life. The series became the engine of my photographic journey while I switched between countries, ideas and modes of living.
